In Arcane Twilight

A solo project founded by Neoteric in April of 2009, In Arcane Twilight derives it's sounds from various genres: Post-Black Metal (Ihsahn), Symphonic Black Metal (Dimmu Borgir), Gothic Metal (Moonspell), Orchestral/Operatic Metal (Epica, Kamelot, Nightwish), as well as bands such as: Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Arsis, Kalmah, Old Man's Child, etc.

iAT's goal is to bring something to the table that seems to be lacking in the local scene, and then to expand to an national/international market.

With one full length album already recording, a second one that is nearing completion, and a third one slated to begin in early 2011, it is clear that even as a solo project, In Arcane Twilight is here to stay.

Also, a side note for anyone who may be interested: I am currently looking to form a full line up. While I do play guitar and bass, as well as compose the keys/synth and drums, I plan on sticking to vocals for this project. That leaves me needing Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keys/Synth and Drums. If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me via the myspace (which has the full first album available for listening).

Your tunes are good and brutal . I've never heard a redition of "Dont fear the reaper" like that. With those low vocs you could change it to "Fear the reaper" lol. I know its a solo project, but do you have musicians that can record that stuff for you if you were to win? Thanks for joining the contest and forum! Good luck!

For the recordings, I play the rhythm and lead guitar parts. For the past recordings I have done, I sent the files of the songs that I have written (in midi form) to my recording guy prior to going into the studio. He is able to take the Synth, Drums and Bass (even though I can play bass, it saves a LOT of time doing it this way) lines that I have written, and translate them onto his program and lay the samples I pick over them.

I am hoping that sometime in the near future, I won't have to worry about using midis and samples. If you guys happen to hear of any drummers, guitarists, bassists and keyboardists looking to join a band along the lines of what iAT has to offer, then please don't hesitate to send 'em my way!

We will definitely do so. In the mean time, just in case we dont find anybody, post what you are looking for in the "Help Wanted" section. We are gaining some speed here. New blood everyday, and we dont discriminate. So your chances of someone finding you on here within the next month are pretty good.
